Description
10 meters tall and colorful: the "Ris" of the "Parc Merveilleux" is probably Bettembourg's best-known inhabitant. With his red cap, checked trousers and blue pullover, he is the unmistakable landmark of the "Parc Merveilleux", which opened in 1955.
Together with the artists Andy Genen (picture) and Lucien Czuga (text) a comic volume was created that sends the "Ris" on a journey together with his friend, the parrot Lori.
Follow the giant of the "Parc Merveilleux" in Bettembourg on this circular route. Along the path, which is aimed specifically at children and families, visitors trace the path of the "Ris", discover the history at augmented reality stations and see several sculptures and other works of art.
The trail also exists as a shorter version (7km).
