The trail starts in the idyllic village of Abweiler. Most parts of the path lead through shady forests. Along the way, you will walk past several ponds and their inhabitants, inviting you to enjoy the calm. The Ditchesweiher is a perfect location for a relaxing break.

Journey
Public transport: Bus stop "Abweiler" is right at the start of the tour. Buses run from here to Bettembourg, which has excellent train connections to Esch-sur-Alzette and Luxembourg City.
