Science Shows

The Luxembourg Science Center is a fun and entertaining discovery center dedicated to science and technology, accessible for audiences of all ages. In the large exploration room, you will discover more than 70 interactive stations, spectacular "science shows" and daily workshops allowing you to observe and play with the wonders of our world. Alone, in a group or with your family, discover science and technology while having fun. Whether it is to lift a car with one hand, play a game of Table football with a robot, melt steel in seconds or participate in a scientific cooking workshop, amazement and enthusiasm are guaranteed!

Interactive stations, shows and workshops

Discover 70 interactive stations in 5 languages and take part in spectacular “Science Shows” and workshops in 4 languages.

These workshops are all about specific scientific topics; Liquids, electricity, biology, motors, mechanics or optics, but also magnetism and computer science are always the focus here. During the Science Shows, science educators will introduce participants to their chosen area in a spectacular and entertaining way and bring them closer to the participants. Depending on the subject area and size, visitors can also actively participate in the experiments. You can ask questions anyway - because you never stop learning!

During normal times, our science show teams are flexible. However, during school holidays and during busy times we may need to limit access to the Science Shows to one show per person to ensure everyone can take part in the shows.

Please note:

•      Please check the program of shows
•      Access to the shows only for ages 6 and up.
•      A science show lasts approximately 1 hour.
•      Please be there 15 minutes before the shows start.
•      The number of places for the science shows, including the planetarium, is limited. We cannot therefore guarantee a place for all visitors.
•      You are welcome to reserve your seats for your favorite science show, including the planetarium, at least 3 days before your visit by calling +352 288 399 1.
•      Spontaneous program changes may occur.
