Group Activity: Guided hiking tours through nature reserves
Guided hiking tours - from easy to challenging. The variety of the nature reserves is definitely something very special and will leave you speechless. For all those who do not want to discover the region of the red rocks on their own, we offer a range of guided tours. Attention: The ticket price applies per group and not per person.
The southern region of the country is home to a fascinating mining heritage. Nowadays, the former open-pit mines have partially returned to the wild, offering a landscape of rare beauty. It is here where you’ll find different nature reserves to visit and explore during a guided tour. This ticket allows you to freely choose between the different nature reserves and combine your experience; this way, you can spend several hours or even an entire day in the south of the Grand Duchy.
No matter if you explore the former open pit mining areas turned nature reserves like the Haardt-Hesselbierg-Staebierg reserve with a guide and appreciate all the richness this former mining site has to offer, discover the Natura 2000 sanctuary in the Ellergronn nature reserve, or experience the transformation of landscapes throughout the industry years while traversing the Prënzebierg-Giele Botter area; every single nature reserve is unique in its own right, enchanting you with beautiful vistas, lush forests and vast nature sanctuaries. In contrast to the former mining areas, the "rural" parts of the Minett are nonetheless equally beautiful and expansive, a veritable testimony to a region in constant evolution, eager to rediscover itself.
Guided tours in English, German, French and Luxembourgish; other languages available upon request.
