IZKOR, LES ESCLAVES DE LA MÉMOIRE

Where? 116, rue de Luxembourg, L-4221 Esch-sur-Alzette Theatre, Film & Shows

Screening & Debate

A documentary filmmaker and a theatre director discuss the impact of politics on art and the influence of their artistic commitment on political dynamics.
As committed artists, they share the ability to challenge entrenched belief systems and rigid political principles, revealing invisible political realities through their work or creating new narratives through their creations.
This conversation between two accomplished artists will explore the themes of memory and the fundamental role played by art in the construction and transmission of history. The discussion will precede the screening of the film IZKOR, directed by Eyal Sivan.
